Teddy bear breathing


Teddy bear belly breathing…..have you heard of this before? 🤔 It has some different names, such as Breathing buddies 🐻 and it is one of my favourite types of pranayama (breathing technique) for kids. 😁 Most of us (me included🙋🏻) take shallow breaths throughout the day. Learning to take slower, deeper belly breaths has so many benefits, both physically and psychologically. 🐛 Teddy bear breathing can help children to be in the present moment, relax their bodies, reduce stress and anxiety and calm down their busy minds. Sounds so good, right? 🙏 I find this activity super useful for kids at night, since it helps them to wind down just before they fall asleep. 🤗
