My daughter is so at home in your classes Anne. She must feel so safe to nearly fall asleep during the relaxation exercises. I’m still not sure how you get her to do that, but thanks again for creating such a welcoming, safe environment for my little one to learn all about nourishment for the body mind and soul.
My son William absolutely loved kids yoga with Anne. He really resonates with Ann as she’s so gentle and has a natural calming nature about her. He loves being able to relax there as it finds it hard to relax. He looks forward to the class every week. He loves learning new things every week and enjoys the little games you play. Thank you for giving him such an amazing experience.
It was really good, and fun 🌸
I like the yoga games at Younger Yoga.
Thank you so much, Anne. My son’s energy from when he walked into the studio to when he walked out after Kids Yoga class, was great. He said he had a good time, would like to do it again and was excited to show me a few yoga poses.
Great place for the kids to learn to be calm.
Anne, the instructor was amazing, kind and gentle with both my kids. One struggled concentrating and Anne was open and flexible with making it work for him. My daughter loved every minute and performed the poses after lessons! Highly recommended 😊
Kaitlyn absolutely loves yoga classes.
I love yoga because I love stretching my body, doing fun games and developing friendships. Yoga makes me feel happy and relaxed. I think everyone should do yoga.
Anne is really nice and caring. She’s just a loving person.
Both my children had their first Yoga experience at Younger Yoga recently, and both loved it. They came home telling me about the different poses and excited to show me what they had learnt. Anne was wonderful and relaxed with the children and provides a caring, nurturing and fun environment to learn. We can't wait for classes to start next term.
My daughter has once again thoroughly enjoyed kids yoga. She has been able to use the skills learnt in class at home, to calm down and relax. She enjoys telling her family about what she is doing and why. Thank you so much Anne 😊
This is the first on going activity my little one has committed to and seen out to the end. I’m so proud of him and so thankful to Anne for creating this opportunity.
Practicing mindfulness and yoga helps children build their self-confidence as they develop positive self-talk, engage in new activities, grow self-awareness and develop inner strength, muscle tone and body-awareness.
Younger Yoga’s programs are strength based. Children learn to embrace what makes them different and to confidently share this with the world.
Kindness and compassion are integral parts of Younger Yoga’s programs. Children learn to accept themselves (self-compassion) as they learn to focus on their own strength, instead of competing with others.
During group discussions, children share ideas on practising kindness and compassion in daily life, for example when interacting online, or with family and friends.
When children are emotionally resilient, they can bounce back from stressful, traumatic, or unexpected situations. Through our programs, children develop emotional resilience by calming the body, teaching the brain to adapt to changes, cultivating a growth mindset and building strength.
As children grow a strong body and a strong mind, they are better equipped for the ups and downs of daily life.
Children are naturally drawn to Yoga and Mindfulness! Our classes are safe and inclusive. Through an intentional sequence of mindful activities, we offer children a chance to rest, connect with their inner world and the group.
I nurture confident, compassionate and resilient children by offering engaging Yoga & Mindfulness programs.
I would like to acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the lands and waters of the Adelaide region, on which my family and I are so fortunate to play and work.
I pay respect to elders past, present and emerging. I acknowledge and respect the Kaurna people’s cultural, spiritual, physical and emotional connection with their land, waters and community.
